-Today was so not exciting. I got up and went to school. Before school started, my sister threw up in the hall. So I had to run down to the office to tell them that my sister was sick. Then I called my neighbor to see if she could pick her up, but she wasn't there so I had to wait outside for 15 minutes until she came then I had to go find my sister. But it turned out that she wasn't sick anymore. So I had to run outside and tell my neighbor that my sister isn't sick so I was sorry I kept her waiting. Then I had to run to my first period class and by that time my arm was hurting really bad and...okay...gotta calm down. After that we had a fire drill in 2nd period. And everything else after that was pretty uneventful. Though when my sister and I got home the house still smelt of smoke. (brother tried to make Ramen noodles...but forgot to put water in the dish before he started cooking.) So we had to open all the windows. Turn on all the fans and open the doors. Now I'm going to stop blabbering and get some rest because my left arm is killing me after writing so much.

-My family (except mom) went and did baptisms for the dead with our ward. It was my brother's first time doing baptisms for the dead. And it was an awesome and spirit filling experience made sweeter by the fact that Daddoo was there to do everything from confirming to baptizing. It was awesome! It's currently UEA weekend, though surprisingly we chose not go anywhere during the break...mostly because my parents are out of vacation time. Its been relaxing though. Which is nice.

-I saw Ben from Geology class on my way to Institute today he hasn't shown up for class for like a week. Institute was fun, I got to play with a pen and pad that let you write things on the computer screen. ASL we described things and class was cancelled for tomorrow. I ran into the Andrew guy again and we exchanged some quick Hi's before I went on my way to the bus stop to get home and relax like usual.

-Didn't sleep that great last night, I kept waking up. Went to school...most likely embarrassed myself in front of my V&D class because we had to read alou dour sonnets and then tell a story that reminds us of it. So I chose the kitten story of how they're now all dead. :( (remember this moment...not quite the kitten story though... :( ) So, of course I went to pieces with my voice barely being intelligible and tears running down my face and nobody comforted me. That made it worse. Otherwise my school day was normal. It was a cool cloudy day today with the clouds swirling around the mountains in such a way that it reminded me of the Oregon coast or Alaska's wilderness. I got to come home today since it's now Fall Break. My parents picked me up and we had dinner at Frazuli's. Went to a store then came home where I got to see my beloved pets and the new skylight my parents installed. Also saw Dove the feral cat I tamed. She was acting weird...I hope she's okay, it seems like she needed some comforting as well. Went to another store with my Dad and came home and chatted with Kikay for an hour or so and took a hot bath to try and relax my tense shoulder muscles.

-Woke up this morning to a knock on the door. It was 9 am, and management had come to do something with the cable connections w/ internet/phone/stuff. Did homework and read most of the day while Kikay went out and hung w/ her friend. Participated in the writing group thing...then Kikay went out to a dance and came back with more friends. I hung out with them for a bit, but they left to get donuts or something so I'm here. Hopefully going to write a bit waiting for Kikay to come back home tonight before going to bed.

-It was another morning interpreting thing. I happened to see Beth walking to school and I offered her a ride. Went to interpreting. Didn't do much. Decorated a cookie and interpreted a conversation about some guy doing something and getting 30 days in jail or something like that. Went to Anatomy where my teacher informed us that next week we'd just have the one quiz this week because after Fall break we'd be having our Midterm. Way to kill the excitement for vacation. I went back to Interpreting but just stood there while the person I'm interpreting for had a conversation with a couple of people who knew sign language. At one point, a couple of women asked my name and told me they thought I was cute and such. They were acting like I was 10 or so. Saying how cute I was whenever I'd sign or say something. It was weird. I went to Devotional where we talked about Patriarchal Blessings. Did institute stuff like putting glue on Kikay and Caleb's face to make milk moustaches for a poster. (to take pictures of them.) Studied for and took my anatomy quiz. The teacher mixed up making it a fill in the blank test instead of an ABC test. I'm pretty sure I got 3 or 4 wrong. Walked home and hung out and bad mood having been informed by my CJ teacher that I had "copied 17% of my last homework" I don't see what the big deal is. I used phrases from the book...but isn't that the point of writing a paper from the book? Probably need to state sources...though I'd think it would be obvious. 17% isn't that much either. Totally don't get it.
Sunday, October 14th 2012
-I wrote a little this morning, but I think I need to start the plot a tad earlier, especially with Kikay's advice. Hopefully I'll be able to write a little tomorrow. I'm probably going to go shoe shopping tomorrow at some point because my church shoes are broken. Church was good and I went to the Sones for dinner before coming back to watch Once Upon a Time and went to ward prayer before Kah brought some guys back to play games which were fun, but I'm kinda glad I have to go to bed early so I don't have to be around them anymore.
Monday, October 14th 2013
- I had work at noon today, which being Monday was a bad thing. As I had a class at noon. My institute class. Dot had been supposed to figure out the schedule, but nothing happened...like I expected.. So instead, I chose to go to a class at 11 am instead. I know Bro S's dislikes class hopping. But I couldn't be late to work. So after looking up the classes at 11am I chose to go to Brother M's class. Ah. Can I tell you what a difference I felt there! It was like walking into sunshine. It felt awesome. Heh especially because Bro M greeted me with a smile and kinda made me feel like a celebrity. He's just so bright and chipper it was a welcome balm to my spirit. It was a welcome change. I mean Bro S's class is good. But there's been an...aura there that hasn't made me feel happy. It may be something in the class. But comparing the two classes was like night and day. It would probably help if I came into class with a better attitude...guess we'll see. Work itself was pretty buys. Kinda odd for a Monday, but I'm glad I wasn't just standing there, though it got crazy with the register more than once. I was on register for the first couple of hours of my shift. The main interesting thing would be that I was training the new guy on the register. But when my coworker came in at 2 I let her take over and spent the next hour or two helping Dot to receive some shipments that hadn't been received yet. Doing a fish count and cricket count, I also sold a Syrian and a robo hamster and caught a couple of finches, Mentored a couple more new people in the department and yah...managed to stay busy. Annoying thing is that my work watch is dying. The clock keeps stopping which means I need to replace it. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by Walmart and grab one after work tomorrow. A cool thing also happened at work, I was talking to a woman who is going to have a baby and we got to talking about their baby girl's name. So far they want to name her Scout. All I can think of is the story "To Kill a Mocking Bird." I asked if they were going to pick a middle name like "Scott Marie" or something and the woman gave me a surprised look/touched look on her face and she emotionally said that Marie was her mother's name and how had I picked that name? I wonder if I "spoke for angels." when the name Marie popped into my head. It would make sense, if the mom had passed on, but I'm not sure she had. Still I think it helped her in some way as she seemed to take it as a sign of sorts. It will be interesting if they actually end up naming their daughter that. I thought it was rather cool. (don't know if they did or not.) I came home and relaxed, the RS presidency and the Bishop's wife dropped by to give us a mini loaf of bread and chat. That was fun.
Tuesday, October 14th 2014
-I'm so tired. Work was exhausting today because it was a high stress load for me today. I got in at 8am to find that my coworker hadn't come into work. A quick text revealed that she'd been up all night throwing up, so she wasn't coming in today. And since it was Tuesday one of our "barely staffed" days, that meant that I would be by myself for my entire shift. With the next person coming in right as I got off. And here I was an hour before the store opened...with nothing done. Thankfully there were only 3 cat cages to clean otherwise I would have spent the first hour doing all the cat cages. But I was able to open hamsters and birds as well, getting the fish and reptiles done an hour and a half after the store opened. Just in time for me to take a break. Once back I focused on doing the bedding changes for the back rooms. A long process because I had to do a sink full of dishes not relating to bedding changes at all while helping customers and with the back rooms pretty full plus I had to take a lunch break and one of my old coworkers came into the store for a bit so I talked to him...in the end I didn't get back rooms done until nearly 3pm. Then I finally did crickets before starting prep for the back rooms new arrives. It wasn't as big of a deal to get those ones done today as the animals won't be here for a couple more days. But I managed to get everything but the name tags done by the time I clocked out. So grateful it was basically dead in my dept today, and that my coworkers were able to pick up some of the slack as I tried to get everything done. After work I went to institute, great lesson, and now...now I need sleep. I have no energy.
Wednesday, October 14th 2015
-It's so weird to have work off today. Not normal considering I'm usually needed to do certain tasks in the morning at work...but due to Fall break a lot of my coworkers are disappearing for the four day weekend, hence...me getting today off and having to work the rest of the week. I spent the day being lazy because I haven't felt a hundred percent. So I indulged in my Flash obsession spending the morning watching episodes of season 1. :) I did some blogging, a bit of writing and went to my institute class with my roomie, which was a good bit of fresh air, to be out and about instead of briefly sitting on my balcony. Dropped by Jamba Juice to get myself a fruit smoothie as I was craving some fruit and came home to relax some more as I'm still feeling off.

The Snail Mastermind
Gilderoy has struck again.
I've once again lost another Betta fish.
And I can only turn to one source that has taken the life of my beloved Pharaoh. And before that, Dr. Swoosh.
That source.
Can only be my Golden Snail.
Gilderoy.
For he has survived where the others have not.
Which only makes him the master mind of some devious plot to get the little one gallon tank all to himself.....
lol Okay....
So the snail may not entirely be at fault....
Maybe.
We'll see.
In any case.
My fish Pharaoh, newest addition to our apartment family...
Ended up not making it.
It could be the snail that did it him in.
Could be not eating.
Could be he didn't like the light.
Or where the tank was.
Or a hundred different reasons that a fish can randomly die....
But my guess was that I just hadn't done a deep enough clean the last time on that particular fish tank.
So there was something lurking (or Gilderoy is just evil.) in the tank that needed to be rinsed out.
So, for the third time...
I took the tank, and did a thorough wash out. Swishing out the gravel, making sure there was a nice new shiny filter cartridge, cleaning the decorations off, rinsing out the tank, the whole shebang.
Nearly killing Gildeory in the process. :S
Oops.
Hey...for a golden snail, he's pretty good at hiding in plain sight.
-Don't worry, evil mastermind is fine. He's scooting around the tank as happy as can be.
But now.
After such a thorough cleaning...
We'll see if the third time is the charm.
And see if my new Betta fish will last longer than the previous residences have....
Only time will tell...
But if this one (not yet named, though he's cool, creamy white with red spots on him.) bites the dust...
Perhaps it's time for Snail Gilderoy to have his own tank to himself....perhaps.
Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

October 2006 General Conference -Sunday Afternoon
Gordon B. Hinckley -The Faith to Move Mountains
- In the on-working of this great cause, increased faith is what we most need. Without it, the work would stagnate. With it, no one can stop its progress.
Boyd K. Packer -A Defense and a Refuge
- We are bound to the standards by covenants, as administered through the ordinances of the gospel by those who have received priesthood and the keys of authority.
- Those faithful Brethren were not free, and we are not free, to alter the standards or to ignore them. We must live by them.
- It is not a cure or a comfort to simply say they do not matter. We all know they do matter, for all mankind is "instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil."
- It is a true principle that you cannot lift yourself by putting others down.
- Some suppose that our high standards will repel growth. It is just the opposite. High standards are a magnet. We are all children of God, drawn to the truth and to good.
- Fear is the opposite of faith.
- If a well-worn yellow bandanna was good enough to be an ensign to the world, then ordinary men who hold the priesthood and ordinary women and ordinary children in ordinary families, living the gospel as best they can all over the world, can shine forth as a standard, a defense, a refuge against whatever is to be poured out upon the earth.
David A. Bednar -And Nothing Shall Offend Them
- The time to stop being offended is now.
- It ultimately is impossible for another person to offend you or to offend me. Indeed, believing that another person offended us is fundamentally false. To be offended is a choice we make; it is not a condition inflicted or imposed upon us by someone or something else.
- Endowed with agency, you and I are agents, and we primarily are to act and not just be acted upon. To believe that someone or something can make us feel offended, angry, hurt, or bitter diminishes our moral agency and transforms us into objects to be acted upon. As agents, however, you and I have the power to act and to choose how we will respond to an offensive or hurtful situation.
- The Church is not "a well-provisioned rest home for the already perfected." Rather, the Church is a learning laboratory and a workshop in which we gain experience as we practice on each other in the ongoing process of "perfecting the Saints."
- In some way and at some time, someone in this Church will do or say something that could be considered offensive. Such an event will surely happen to each and every one of us--and it certainly will occur more than once. Though people may not intend to injure or offend us, they nonetheless can be inconsiderate and tactless.
- You and I cannot control the intentions or behavior of other people. However, we do determine how we will act. Please remember that you and I are agents endowed with moral agency, and we can choose not to be offended.
- One of the greatest indicators of our own spiritual maturity is revealed in how we respond to the weaknesses, the inexperience, and the potentially offensive actions of others. A thing, an event, or an expression may be offensive, but you and I can choose not to be offended--and to say with Pahoran, "it mattereth not."
A. Roger Merrill -Receiving by the Spirit
- One cannot help but wonder how many gifts and blessings surround us that we do not receive. The Lord has said: "For what doth it profit a man if a gift is bestowed upon him, and he receive not the gift? Behold, he rejoices not in that which is given unto him, neither rejoices in him who is the giver of the gift."
- First, they seek.
- Second, those who receive, feel.
- Third, those who receive by the Spirit intend to act.
Craig A. Cardon -Moving Closer to Him
- Unfortunately, there are few within the Church who exhibit greater charity toward nonfamily members than toward their own spouses and children, siblings and parents. They may show feigned kindness publicly while privately sowing and cultivating seeds of contention, demeaning those who should be closest to them. These things should not be.
Don R. Clarke -Becoming Instruments in the Hands of God
- A person does not need to have a Church calling, an invitation to help someone, or even good health to become an instrument in God's hands.
- First, of all, we must have love for God's children.
- We must be willing to journey.
- Learn the importance of fasting and prayer.
- We ... also need to be receptive to the promptings of the Holy Ghost, for when we desire to be an instrument in the hands of God, we can receive revelation.
- "You can be powerful instruments in the hands of God to help bring about this great work. ... You can do something for another person that no one else ever born can do."
Keith R. Edwards -That They Might Know Thee
- "Know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good."
- Although suffering may provide insight, we must be careful not to compare but rather to appreciate.
Larry W. Gibbons -Wherefore, Settle This in Your Hearts
- If God created us, it is not logical that He would then leave us alone. It makes sense He would give us guidance. Some of this guidance has come in the form of what we call commandments.
- Commandments are not given to burden or restrict us. Rather, they are guideposts from an all-wise Heavenly Father to keep us out of trouble, to bring us a fullness of happiness in this life, and to bring us safely back home to Him.
- "... I am not diminished by being told there are certain things I may not do because they are wrong. Rather, it enhances me."
- "The Lord has given us His standards of worthiness. He has not done it to keep us away from Him but to draw us to Him."
- We cannot keep one foot in the Church and one foot in the world. One reason is the world and the Church are rapidly diverging. We will lose our balance.
- "As Latter-day Saints we need not look like the world. We need not entertain like the world. Our personal habits should be different. Our recreation should be different."
- Brothers and sisters, let's sell that summer cottage in Babylon. Let us be not "almost" but "altogether" Latter-day Saints.
- "There is but one path of safety to the Latter-day Saints, and that is the path of duty. It is not a testimony, it is not marvelous manifestations, it is not knowing that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, ... it is not actually knowing that the Savior is the Redeemer, and that Joseph Smith was His prophet, that will save you and me, but it is the keeping of the commandments of God, the living the life of a Latter-day Saint."
- You lived with your Heavenly Father in a premortal life. You were there with Him. Your spirit knows what it is like to live in celestial realms. You can never be truly happy in an uncelestial environment. You know too much. That is one of the reasons that for you, wickedness never can be happiness. What a great thing it is to decide once and for all early in life what you will do and what you will not do with regards to honesty, modesty, chastity, the Word of Wisdom, and temple marriage.
- Brothers and sisters, stay on the straight and narrow path. No, stay in the middle of the straight and narrow path. Don't drift; don't wander; don't dabble' be careful.
- Remember, do not flirt with evil. Stay out of the devil's territory. Do not give Satan any home-field advantage. Living the commandments will bring you the happiness that too many look for in other places.
Jeffrey R. Holland -Prophets in the Land Again
- First, they declare eagerly and unequivocally that there is again a living prophet on the earth speaking in the name of the Lord.
- Secondly, each of these conferences marks a call to action not only in our own lives but also on behalf of others around us, those who are of our own family and faith and those who are not.
- Lastly, a general conference of the Church is a declaration to all the world that Jesus is the Christ that He and His Father, the God and Father of us all, appeared to the boy prophet Joseph Smith in fulfillment of that ancient promise that the resurrected Jesus of Nazareth would again restore His Church on earth and again "come in like manner as [those Judean Saints had] seen him [ascend] into heaven."
Gordon B. Hinckley -Closing Remarks
- We wish that there were peace in the earth and constantly pray that I may come.
General Relief Society Meeting
Bonnie D. Parkin -Eternally Encircled in His Love
- I fear sometimes we see the Lord's love only in the big events in our lives; we must also see his love in the smallest of things. Don't underestimate your ability to share His love through a simple, genuine gesture such as sitting next to another sister and making her feel welcome.
Kathleen H. Hughes -Remembering the Lord's Love
- Everyday, when I seek it, I experience the Lord's love in my life and feel His arms encircle me.
- The Lord is everywhere when we open our eyes and hearts to His love.
- Women are asked to be nurturers to their families, but we must also be firm; we must be the hard rock footings on which our homes can stand. Our families need us to speak peace to them, just as the Lord speaks peace to us.
Anne C. Pingree -To Look, Reach, and Come unto Christ
- We must demonstrate that faith in the Lord has penetrated our hearts deeply enough to move us to action.
- He extends "the arm of mercy towards them that put their trust in him."
Gordon B. Hinckley -In the Arms of His Love
- Relief Society stands for love.
- It is the natural instinct of women to reach out in love to those in distress and need.
- Relief Society stands for education.
- Relief Society stands for self-reliance.
- Relief Society means sacrifice.
- "God bless you, mothers. When all the victories and defeats of men's efforts are tallied, when the dust of life's battles begins to settle, when all for which we labor so hard in this world of conquest fades before our eyes, you will be there, you must be there, as the strength for a new generation, the ever-improving onward movement of the race."
- Relief Society means faith.
- Now, my dear sisters, just a word in conclusion. I remind you that you are not second-class citizens in the kingdom of God. You are His divine creation. Men hold the priesthood. Yours is a different role, but also extremely important. Without you, our Father's plan of happiness would be frustrated and have no real meaning. You are 50 percent of the membership of the Church and mothers of the other 50 percent. No one can dismiss you lightly.
Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

Obsessed and Loving It
Okay... I may be just a little obsessed right now.
The past few days, I've had the opportunity to just relax in front of my TV and watch a TV series.
It was such a relief to be able to claim my TV again.
My roommates have been using it. Depriving me of the chance to watch shows I want to watch.
But finally.
I got the chance.
Who knew when I would get the chance to do so again.
so...
I began watching the show I've been waiting all summer to be able to rewatch.
The Flash.
Took me under two days to watch all the episodes.
Ah.
So much fun.
I've always been partial to the flash.
Something about the ability to be Fast. The ability to be funny and help people.
It's something I've always enjoyed.
But...I had other friends that had him as their favorite too.
And me being me....
I kept quiet about my appreciation for him as a superhero...
I'm not one to get into battles over who likes who more or who knows more about the superhero.
The Flash.
Ah the flash has been a favorite of mine for a long time.
To finally get a TV series about him.
I was more than excited.
Finally!
Something to watch to see. I've been waiting for years for a movie...just one movie....but that is still years down the road.
But a TV show?!
Even better! Because then I would get more than two hours of the Flash.
I could get hours upon hours of the Flash.
And the show.
The show is great.
I love it to pieces.
It's one of those shows that gets me excited.
Where I get invested.
Where I must know what happens next.
Much easier to find in a book, than in a TV series.
There aren't many TV series where I want to be able to watch it again.
And again.
And again.
But the flash.
Oh I looked forward to it every week while the first season was airing.
To finally have the TV series available on Netflix, on DVD.
I can watch it whenever and wherever I want.
And it is glorious!
Lol.
I may be a tiny bit obsessed.
Just a bit.
But why not indulge in something that brings joy? lol.
Watching the Flash has been a breath of creative fresh air.
I love watching it.
My roomies on the other hand...lol they don't see why I'm so into the show.
And I'm probably driving them a bit mad with how much I've been watching and rewatching the episodes.
And at this point I don't care lol.
I'm enjoying this.
^^ Can't wait to return to watching more.
>.>
<.<
As soon as the roomies go to bed.... lol

Fish Edumacation
Sometimes...when you're not on duty...you just need to come to the rescue of another.
In this case...
I had ventured out of my apartment to go buy groceries at the Walmart.
And on a whim, I ventured over to pet section.
Mostly to see if they actually still carried fish.
Which they do. (People keep telling me that Walmart doesn't carry fish anymore, but this location still does.)
And as I was walking past.
There was this couple.
Talking over what fish they wanted to get.
And I couldn't help myself.
I had to step in.
Because the combination of fish they were talking about. Puffers. Tiger Oscar Cichlids, Neon Tetras, Tiger Barbs.
Yah. 3 out of those four were going to be killed.
Because guess what? One fish is super aggressive! The Tiger Oscar loves to eat other fish. The puffers as well, I've heard like to eat fish. The neon tetras. Oh they're doomed. Tiger barbs...maybe not.
So I stepped in.
And told them.
That's not a good idea.
I saved the fishy's lives.
Because apparently, they'd already bought Tiger Barbs and Neon Tetras before....
And were confused as to why the neons all disappeared and the Tiger Barbs died.
BECAUSE THE OTHER FISH ATE THEM! THE OTHER FISH KILLED THEM! THAT'S WHY!!
And they were like O.O
What do we do?
And I'm like.
a) get only cichlids because they can get along together.
Or b) get rid of the cichlids and do other fish that won't kill each other.
(c. Come to my store where we'll actually tell you that your fish will kill each other if you get them.)
Thankfully.
I was in the right place at the right time.
To inform the potential pet customers.
And let them know about what they should do.
And they seemed to be grateful for the advice. Yay!
It's kinda sad that I did work related things on my day off....
But just goes to show how much I love my job that I want to help others even when I'm not in my store lol.
Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

Almost Accident
I nearly got hit today.
In my car.
I was driving home from work.
Anxious to just be able to relax.
And there was this black truck.
Two lanes over from me.
Not anywhere near me.
But if I hadn't been paying attention.
We'd have been screwed.
Because this guy.
Suddenly veered over to make right hand turn at the approaching intersection.
And there was no looking whatsoever.
If I hadn't been paying attention,
I would have been hit by him. The back corner of his truck, bashing into the front of mine.
>.<
I honked the horn long and loud.
And the guy looked back.
At first angry that I was honking.
But then he realized what he'd almost done.
He was more apologetic after that.
We drove on.
Our separate directions.
Me, really glad that I didn't get hit.
Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

Finding the Arrow
It was the day after Christmas, 1946, in Santa Clara, Utah.
As a young nine-year-old boy, I asked my mother if I could take my Christmas gift, a new bow and arrow set, and go up on the hill behind our home to hunt for rabbits.
It was late in the afternoon, and Mother was reluctant, but with my coaxing she agreed to let me go, but only if I was back home before dark.
As I reached the top of the hill, I put an arrow on the bow and started walking quietly through the sage and chaparral bushes, hoping to see a rabbit feeding at the base of the brush where the tender grass was still green.
I was startled by a large jackrabbit that jumped out from a sage bush right in front of me.
I pulled back on the bow, taking a quick aim, and let the arrow fly at the fleeing, daring rabbit.
The arrow missed, and the rabbit disappeared through the brush ahead.
I went to where I thought the arrow had hit the ground to retrieve it.
Only three arrows came with the bow, and I didn't want to lose this one.
I looked where the arrow was supposed to be, but it wasn't there.
I looked all around the area where I was sure it landed, but I couldn't find it.
The sun was setting in the west; I knew that it would be dark in about 30 minutes, and I didn't want to be late getting home.
I searched again the area where the arrow should have been, looking carefully under every bush, but it was not to be found.
Time was running out, and I needed to start for home to get there before dark.
I decided to pray and ask Heavenly Father to help me find the arrow.
I dropped to my knees, closed my eyes, and prayed to my Father in Heaven.
I told Him I didn't want to lose my new arrow, and I asked Him to show me where to find it.
While still on my knees, I opened my eyes, and there in the sagebrush immediately in front o fme, at eye level, I saw the colored feathers of the arrow partly hidden by the branches.
I grabbed the arrow and began to run for home, arriving there just before dark.
I will never forget that special experience.
Our Heavenly Father had answered my prayer.
That was the first time I had prayed for Him to help me, and He did!
That evening I learned to have faith and trust in my Heavenly Father.
When we need help, even as a naïve little boy with an important concern, our Heavenly Father hears our prayer, and with love He gives us the guidance we seek.
