It was training day with the newbie in my department.
Which meant a good six hours of basically talking nonstop as I try to show my coworker what tasks need to be done in the morning and teach them at the same time how to do things like catching crickets and bagging fish and talking to customers about other various animals that they may be interested in purchasing.
Surprisingly though.
This new coworker is really excited to be working a pet store.
Which is...different.
They're just so excited about everything. To be working with animals and around animals.
It's refreshing really.
To have them be so excited and eager to be at work.
I am curious at how long that attitude will last though lol.
But for now, it's nice to have such a go-getter at work.
I look forward to continuing to work with them.
