Adoption Day

So every month we have an adoption day. Where at work our adoption partner comes into the store with dogs to help them find forever homes. 
Usually it's only once a month because our main adoption group is based three hours away from us. So it's not always the easiest for them to come to our store. 

Which is what happened today.
We were supposed to have an adoption event.
But.
There's this fire that started nearby their area....that's grown huge. Destroyed homes, burned a lot of land.
And the group has been busy rescuing animals.
Mostly dogs I believe, possibly other animals.

It's crazy though, as I've been told that they've taken in over 100 dogs in the past couple of days. 
Which, I have no idea how big their main home base is.
But over 100 dogs is A LOT ()_()

*fingers crossed* that everyone finds a good home once they're deemed healthy and available for adoption. ^^;;
