To Talk

It's funny. 
Kikay and I have been roomies for a bit.
Like...we see each other everyday because we live in the same house currently.

But like...we don't always talk when we're home together.
Mostly it's a "I'm home!" "hey I'm making dinner." "Is that project giving you trouble again?" 
Just typical day to day things.

lol. But yesterday and today, we were up at the parentals and such visiting.
And it's suddenly like. "Kikay! What's up?! What's happening?!" 
We started talking.
You know getting into those philosophical debates, and the meaning of life questions.

....which these conversations we could have had all the time at home....
Yet, the topics don't always come up until like...we're in a different environment. 
It's weird.
So strange.
To have that happen.
Like literally we see each other everyday, and yet...it's when we're 'out of town' that we have all these deep discussions.

*shakes head*
Maybe it's the energy of a place.
Or the level of comfort of a place.
That influences what topics of conversation we have and bring up. 

Who knows. 
Just something interesting that was pointed out to me today lol.
