The Giveaway Smell

It's there in plain sight.

The cookie jar.
Mom is no where in sight.
So you take your chance.
Sneaking into the kitchen,
you get on tip toe.
Reach your little hand out.
Slip it into the cookie jar.

And before you can grab the delicious cookie out.

Mom catches you.

No cookie for you!

How does she do it? Know that you got into the cookie jar?

Personally..
I think its smell.

I mean you can smell baking cookies.
And locking said cookies into a container,
the smell just intensifies waiting to be released.
And once it is.

Cookie smell wafts all over the place.

Mom smells it.
And tada. You're caught.

I totally got caught.
Not in the kitchen.
But on our trip. lol.
You see, Kikay made some delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for our journey.
I saw them.
Wanted one.
So innocently I opened the container and grabbed out a cookie.

I smelt the cookie smell.
Didn't think anything of it.

Until the rest of the family was like "COOKIE!! GIMMIE COOKIE!"

lol. Nope can't hide the cookie evidence at all.
The smell will get you caught.
And then...all your cookies disappear.

Note to self. If you want cookies to yourself.
Go out into the middle of nowhere.
Far far away from human eyes.
And open the cookies there.
so by the time the smell reaches human noses...
you'll be long gone with the cookies. :)

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I was waiting in line at a pool on top of a hill. It was a natural pool where it was fed by a stream.
Only everyone wanted to get in.
So I had to wait in line.
And it wasn't just people. In front of me was a walrus. Hogging up the pool.
Some young cubs tried to get in before their time, and he chased them out.
Well...finally my time came...and the walrus -now rhinoceros- left the pool.
I was able to get in with my brother and sister.
The attendants had us hold hands, and we ended up spinning up and up and up into the air.
We lost grip on each other's hands. But managed to get back together, unfortunately in our rotation we missed getting back in the pool. The fence line passed us by and we ended up in the dirt.

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)
