5:48

Do you expect weird things to happen on Leap Day?
I wasn't really expecting anything out of the ordinary to happen.
But something did.
It snowed for one thing....but that's not really odd in February.
But today...
at 10:48am.
I happened to look at my cellphone.
Just to check the time, and put it back.
But then I noticed something off.
It didn't look like a ten had stared back at me.
Sooo I pulled out my cellphone again.
And....the time was wrong.
O.o
How could a cellphone have the wrong time?!
I have no idea.
But by my cellphone it was 5:48 (idr if it was am or pm)
My clock was five hours off.
And I had no idea what I did to do that.
But when I went to messages and then back out...
the time had become normal again.

O.o
Is it possible for a brief moment...I was in a different time?
Who knows.
Perhaps something amazing was supposed to happen at 5:48 today...
lets see in the morning...i was sleeping.
In the afternoon I was driving Kikay to work...
and at 10:48am...I was just getting out of class.
Perhaps something will happen at 10:48pm?

I don't know.
But for some reason...5:48...must have been important on this leap day.

:) Soo Happy 5:48 of Feb 29th! :D

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves!
Enjoy the day!

Secret Agent Communication

Today I sent out a simple text. Asking Kikay a question.
And she responds back with the answer plus the words "Don't Text Back."

My first thoughts?
No...not that she's in class and she doesn't want to be interrupted, or interrupt the class or something.
No.
I think...oh, she's in the middle of some intense secret mission thing.
She can't text back because she's in a highly delicate situation.
About to meet with some people to do a secret exchange.
Or other Secret Agent type of work.
That means.
If you text back I could get killed!
-Or I could get in trouble with the teacher lol.

lol I sometimes get butterflies in my chest as well when I read that because I think:
Oh no! Kikay is in trouble!
But most of the time, I look at the message and think the secret agent stuff. :)

Speaking of Secret Agent Stuff.
I felt...rather like I was in a forbidden part of the building today in school.
I thought I'd been on every floor in my college.
...Everyone but that Seventh Floor in that one Building.
But no. Today I discovered that a building I thought only had two levels....
actually had three.
This building had a basement!
I know this....
Because I had to meet a secret agency down there to exchange goods. ;) lol
They wanted my written essay.
I wanted the monetary currency they were offering me.
We met in the claustrophobic windowless classroom in this basement.
One that I never knew to exist.
And we made this exchange. An hour of my time.
Though our transaction isn't complete...
I will have to return to those darkened corridors again tomorrow to complete the exchange.
Another hour of my time with pen and paper.

>.>
<.<
I felt like I was somewhere forbidden, sneaking around underneath the higher upper's nose.

But the greatest secrety secret Agent communication I discovered today was.....

>.>
<.<
I can do Instant Messaging on my Ipod!! :D
lol you have no idea how excited I am to discover this.
Lets just say its the crazy smile, wide eyes of happiness and the jumping up and down like an eager bouncy ball excited. :D
I'm way more excited then I should be just because I thought I couldn't, because I'd tried before, but today out of curiosity I tried something different...
and walla! Instant Messaging communication! :D
hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
I say this because this means I can have secret agent >.> <.< communications.
And nobody would be the wiser.
Actually they would assume I was talking to someone..since my ipod touch looks like the iphone...so they would assume I'm texting.
But that makes it all the more secret!
Because I'm NOT texting. :D
It's IMing!! :D
^^
Yep, super excited about that. :) lol.

And so concludes my three secret agent like things I encountered/discovered today :D

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I was on a pirate's ship again. Swinging from a rope, sword in hand...I think holding a person in the other....and I was completing three..tasks.
The first...involved killing someone...I didn't like that. I remember striking a sword at a crack in a door....
The second or third.... I don't remember.
the dream faded soon after I woke up. :(

A Dark Morning

Today started out rather dark.
Mostly because of the dream I had.
But besides that, I woke up before the sun.
So it was literally dark.
But I felt this dark feeling this morning.
Like it wasn't safe to be awake. To be moving about. to be leaving my apartment.
For a moment I considered going back to bed til the 'danger' had passed.
But I had an obligation. To get to the Institute for an early morning meeting.
So with a quick prayer before I left and a prayer in my heart, I left.
Oddly enough the feeling began to fade as I exited my apartment, and left when I entered the institute.
Though...I don't think I totally felt relaxed until after the sun came up.
With light in the sky, the darkness began to fade.
For which I'm grateful :)

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

New Ward Energy

So, college life, more specifically the college singles ward part of life....
Is very transient. People move in and out of the ward all the time.
At most people seem to stick around for a couple of years.
At the least for one semester of school.
Not so for me.
This is my fourth year in my singles ward.
And in my second semester of my first year of school....we got a new bishop.
Always a cause for sorrow.
Because I've decided Single Ward bishops are just Awesome.
And I really liked the first bishop of my college years...
Luckily the new bishop was already known to me, since he was a counselor under the other bishop.
And I actually liked him as well. :)

:( But last week....he got released.
The Bishop that has been my bishop for 3 and a half years.
For most of my college life.
With only two more months to go before I graduate.
And he was released last week.
I couldn't go to see him released, or to see the new bishop sustained.
(I was visiting my favorite Red Rocks. :) )

Its just weird to think I have a new bishop now.
Just as I'm about to graduate...

But the new bishop....
I spoke with him briefly before our first meeting.
And he has such a...lively energy to him.
A aura that just brightens the soul and makes you feel happier.

There is a new energy in our ward.
Brought in by our new Bishop.
It seems like he'll fit in just fine. :)

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I was in this jail...house sort of place, where a few of me and my friends...were in jail...i think my family was there as well. We were stuck in prison cage cells next to the stairwell. One cage was on the first floor the other one on the landing of the second floor. And the people holding us didn't like us. They were treating us like we were feral werewolves or something....though we looked just like them. Finally they were like "We're going to give you *so much time* to get out. So get! Go catch the train" So I dashed off to pack this that and the other...like my favorite stuffed animal Jasper. But my Mom...wasn't really wanting to go. At least she didn't see why we needed to rush around with our heads cut off. But she was packing as well. Besides things, we needed to get our pets out...because the house was on fire and we needed to get the dogs out. But for some reason...I was trying to get the cats to stay in the house....that was on fire..with the fish. But Koko, and a greyish cat that looked like YumYum, though I knew she was dead so I didn't think it could be her. (oddly enough Koko being alive didn't seem odd to me at all) And I was like...okay you guys can go outside!
I was trying to keep them inside because they were inside cats and it was winter outside and we were going on vacation for a week or two and I didn't want the cats to freeze to death outside, hence why I rushed over to try and get them, but they jumped the gate leading into my backyard. -well Koko jumped, YumYum slithered underneath the fence through the gap. I basically said. "Fine!" and went back to the house to grab some last minute things. Like Jasper...though I was like...I thought I packed you! And then I found another Jasper! And I was like....okay I'm sure I already packed you, so I'm going to leave you two behind, so I set them carefully on my bed, grabbed up my scriptures, turned to leave....

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

-The whole Jail thing...I think was in response to seeing the Martyrdom of Joseph Smith for devotional on Friday and how people didn't like the Mormons because they were Mormons. No other reason...like we were werewolves or something. We were just as human, but they didn't view us as human....

He's Got An Accent!

You know how people seem to swoon
When people who are from another country speak in their accents?

I never really understood it.
Oh! He's from Spain! *swoon*
That one's from Australia! *swoon*
That one is from Britain *double swoon!*
He's Italian! *swoon*

Yah...I don't get it.
Or I didn't get it.
I could see how the accent was cool and all.
But...I don't know if I could just sit there and listen to one all day.

But the other day in my Institute class...
we had a new student.
-We always have 'new' students in my institute classes lol.
It seems like there's a new group of people every class.
Well we had a guy visiting with his roommates.
And the teacher had him introduce himself.
He was from Scotland.
And he had an accent.
But it wasn't...idk the viking accent.
You know know like the accents used in How to Train your Dragon
or in the upcoming movie Brave.
His accent wasn't like that. It was...muted.
And it sounded nice.
Like I could listen to it all day.

OooOooh
So that's what that is like.
I got it. :) lol
I didn't swoon though ;)

I'll be watching the leaves.

A Moment in the Shadows

Sometimes, when I'm in need of attention.
That's the time when I blend into the crowd.
I'm there, but not participating.
I'm easily forgettable.
Because, when I'm in pain.
I make myself invisible.
So that people won't notice that the sunshine is missing
For that short period of time.
When I'm unable to let my light shine.

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

There was this guy/fox person. -At times he seemed human, at other times he seemed like a fox...you know like robin hood? Yah...that sort of fox but more mischievous then the robin hood fox guy.
He was searching for clues to lead him to this....'big secret' The ability to do something amazing, but there was this round ghostly masked phantom creature that had a big round/top shaped body and a small head. He was black and white with orangish red colors and looked like a joker/clown person. He'd appear at random times when the guy found...well he'd appear and spin slowly in place in a creepy 'we must run from this guy before he kills us!' fashion, because he wasn't a good guy. The clown person creepy guy thing appeared three times floating...though I don't remember the exact situations. Then my family and I were in a church gym to find the next clue and all the young women were there from my ward..it was like a relief society/ YW luncheon thing. And Sara B was playing on the piano as other things were done and there was food. We were all sitting on bleachers like it was some basketball game being played, but we weren't playing basketball.
But then the fox man ended up going to this tree. Where it was like five tree sisters. -They were trees that could talk- these tree sisters started out separate but bound themselves together. And they were holding interviews for applicant's to join their tree college. There was the fox guy, a squirrel and a deer who were applying, and they decided on the fox -because only one could join- and the squirrel threw a fit and the deer ended up getting the application, but he was frozen in place? Why? Because there was this giant black bear coming up behind the deer to kill him. So what happens? Fox man comes to the rescue! He grabs the deer from the bear and pulls him into a tree.
(the deer disappears)
The bear was still coming and the fox guy was trying to climb faster. And the girl trees...one of them decided to abscond so she popped out a round circle of wood and disengaged herself from the tree.
Well the bear disappeared the five sisters reunited. And the fox guy was in the tree. He found that one of the girl sisters had a nook in her branches with a bunch of rock figurines, some puny they were like 3/4 of an inch tall, others were two inches long. They were of lynxes, tigers, bears, lions, and a few other creatures. The fox guy was still searching for the key and the sisters told him that the guy he was looking for had been there years before and part of their school. They had bonded really strong with him and he was the reason why the decided to twist their trunks together and 'become one' and that he'd placed a crayon in the center of their trunks for them to have/protect. The foxman swung from branch to branch /sister to sister in a spiral down to the ground. He had to be sure to get every sister on his way down as a part of some ritual. He reached the bottom and looked in and there was a pink and white crayon (one crayon that was swirly pink and white.) he reached into the small door and picked it up from its base on the stump of a trunk and looked at it spinning it. He then looked through the small doorway (he could fit his head in it) and he saw a room of doors as they slowly spun in and out of his field of vision, all different sizes and shapes. (oh...there was an old man there  briefly as well) the fox guy pulled his head back to study the crayon. He took off the pink/white wrapper to study the pink crayon and recaps of the last times the phantom had appeared flashed through his mind. They all appeared floating upwards and spinning slowly in place. It was the spinning that caught his attention and he looked up from his room and saw on the wall....some sort of writing (it was a message, but I can't remember what it said) he read that. turned around. And there was the guy! The one the foxguy had been searching for...though fox guy was more human now. The man nodded to foxguy basically saying 'so you finally found me' (after 7clues were found) 'what do you want to know' and so the foxguy asked him how he could travel so quickly and show up from place to place. The man said "well..i basically picture a hat with a brim. I grab the hats brim and turn around the brim of the hat" (he was demonstrating as he was talking) and the guy disappeared only to reappear a couple of feet away. "and you just have to feel when to come out."
I think my dad was involved in this dream somewhere as well...but I can't remember it... :(

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

Juicen Photos

So...I'm the type of person to come up with random ideas.
When I'm given a situation, I'll just...spout out something random and weird.
Never expecting anything to come out of it.
Because most of the time it doesn't.
Sometimes it does.

For example.
Yesterday I was talking with a guy who likes Orange Juice.
Me...I'm very particular about my Orange juice.
I'm sensitive to the taste...sooo there are particular kinds I like.
And in retrospect...I think I like the ones that are 'fake' orange juice. Not the 'real' orange juice.
This guy though, likes basically every kind of orange juice. Or I suppose juice in general.
Anywho, for fun... I suggested he take a juice journey.
What's a juice journey?
You buy a bunch of different types of orange juice (or juice)
Get a bunch of cups.
Fill one cup up with one type of juice -repeat with all the juices.
And then 'take a juice journey'
lol
Basically you start with cup A and end with cup Z.

So that's a juice journey! :D lol.

On an unrelated subject...
I was in the institute staring at the wall of pictures with a few other members of council.
(we have our pictures on the wall)
and I commented...that for the week of April fools.
We should replace our nice pictures with pictures of us when we were younger. :) lol.
The others seemed to like this idea.
I wonder if it will actually happen. :P
It might be fun lol.

So there are a couple of random comment/concepts/ideas I've given just from situational stuff.

:)
Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

Staycation Tick Tock

And it Strikes again.

With a
Tick
and
a Tock
and a Tick
and a final Tock.

Yes. Another watch bites the dust.
...almost.

It seems like my watch is taking a Staycation.
I noticed this yesterday evening.
That my watch was half an hour off.
So I fixed the time.
Didn't think much of it.
But I glanced at it again and it was off.
So I watched it after fixing it again.
It moved once. And stopped.
So I messed with the dial.
It ticked twice and stopped.
It didn't stop permanently though.
Because when I glance at the watch, it moves.
but really slowly.
Soo it ticks and tocks and stops and starts over and over again.

Which means...
I need a new watch.
Again.
...or else a battery.
Guess I'll see. :)
Luckily... I have a back up watch!! :D lol

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.

Oh the Wavy Blue

The Red Rocks

They're my favorite place to go out of any place I could go to.

Why?

Well....I get such a 'zen' feeling there.

Depending on what I need, I can find peace, or energy.

I guess you could say that it's a place that speaks to me. :)

I love it there, and I'm always sad to leave.
I feel like I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like there.
lol. If I had my way, I'd probably relax in the same area of red rock for an entire day and would only reluctantly leave when the moon was rising and the sun had set.
Only to return the next day to a different red rocks area in the same general area, to spend all day there.
Ah. I really need to take a week's vacation there. :D

And this time around. I could actually 'see' the nice calming energy. :3
lol. If you look in photo one and three you can see an Indian head in both of them.
okay. not in person.
But I snapped a photo.
Using my Ipod Touch camera. (and just pointing and clicking)

And it's become my favorite photo. :)
(I made it X-Large just cus it's my favorite :3)

Did you see the ghost in the tree? A hint. He's near the top of the tree. but not the tippy top.
It gives off...that peaceful vibe.
I just like to look at it. :)
(look it's the same blue as that random blue dot in yesterday's post!)

These blue lines showed up in two other pictures.

In case you were wondering...yes that's my Daddoo without the sun behind him. :)
The picture above is actually a picture I took before I took the picture of the blue dot. It was only three pictures later that the blue dot appeared on my screen.

Can you see the Indian ghost head in this one? He's in the tree as well.
The blue lines are fainter in this one, but you can still make them out. :)

The first one is my favorite though. :) Such bright blue colors. ^^
So peaceful/ or energizing.
Ah. Such cool pictures!!
The Red Rocks.
I need to go there more often.
They're the best place to go to recharge for me. :)

Until you see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.

The Dream

Peter Pan. Like a White Ninja, coming home from a victory party for completing a mission, came back to London after rescuing his children from Neverland's Captain Hook.
(Can you tell I watched Hook before going to bed? ;) lol)
He (looking like Robin Williams) knelt down in front of the Grandmother Wendy.
And asked something.. (I can't remember really :( )
To have a ritual done because he was finished. he'd done his mission.
So Grandmother Wendy spoke the words in a warehouse feeling type of place with lots of shelves and boxes of stuff.
She basically bound him to something or another...
But the general idea was...
that Peter Pan...would age in reverse. He wouldn't get older. He no longer wanted to get older, or be a part of the family. He'd done what he was supposed to do and he wanted to rest.
So...we watched my family and I, as he got younger. And younger. And younger.
We were doing other things at the time...mostly just sitting in the living room and chatting, glancing over at him every now and then noting how much younger he was getting.
Until he was an infant in my Mom's arms.
Smaller he grew.
Smaller.
Until I looked over and Kikay was asleep with the blanket over her.
We woke her up and she lifted up the blanket to reveal...he wasn't there anymore.
:(
It was a sad process. I didn't want him to leave. To 'give up' and go away. I wanted him to stay, but his mind was made up.
So, we ended up in this huge old house.
With elevators and such with the scooby gang.
Trying to figure out stuff.
Explore.
The mansion had like 5 levels.
And ShaStep's family of nine kids were there as well.
I ran into Ev on the second floor I think. He was in his room, and I was exploring and his bathroom...was odd. It had...I counted 9 but he said that there were 12...13? shower heads in this master bedroom sized bathroom though the walls didn't have any blocking agents to them. It was a communal bathroom...of sorts.
You see this house was built...rather oddly.
It seemed like every floor was built so that it could house two families.
So there were two kitchens, and bathrooms, and bedrooms.
It was like each floor was over prepared to house a family in a 'house floor'
(I've dreamt of this place before, but somewhat different)
Some of the furnishings were old, others new, others crowded, others...well not less crowded.
There were rooms found behind every door.
And the elevators weren't always trustworthy.
The house gave off a...dark vibe.
Like there was something...well dark lurking within the walls, and we were trying to find them..it.
And it was trying to get us.
So I was on the fourth floor or the fifth floor and Daphne was there for a bit, and we were figuring out the elevator...and Ev was being kinda creepy and the house itself was creepy with all its random rooms and bedrooms and such.

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

Dots, Spots, or... Ghosts?

So, there I was.
In my favorite spot in the world.
Taking pictures from my Ipod Touch.
And in a spare moment
I happened to glance back through my pictures while resting.
And found this.

A random blue dot.
Curious.
I wiped at my camera, front and back, to see if it was just a dot on my screen.
I didn't see anything. And the dot didn't come off the screen.
So for fun....
I turned the camera towards the same general area.
And snapped a picture.

Another blue dot! But it had moved.
:D Interesting :D
So, after a couple of other pictures.
I took another one.

There it is again!
And it's moved...
I double checked the landmarks.
The dot moved.
I looked out in that area...
But I couldn't see anything reflecting.

Thus. The game began.
I started snapping pictures.
To see if I could catch this blue dot.
And it moved into the sky!
Dun dun dun.
So after this point...the blue dot is somewhere in the sky. :)
Have fun searching! :)

It didn't work every time I turned my camera in this direction. I'm just posting the pictures where I see the blue dot.

And it seems to be moving.
(the pict below is of my Awesome Daddoo :3)

Like I said, it didn't appear every picture I took towards the sun. It was like every fourth picture I took sometimes.

In any case, it made my hike more fun. :) Searching for this blue dot in my pictures.

Because I looked and looked with my real eyes.
I spotted cars with their gleaming tops far off to the right.
(they're not in any pictures)
But no shiny objects near the ground where the dots showed up.

And nothing this bright of a blue was anywhere in the area.  (the photo below is a repeat of the first photo so you don't have to scroll up again. :) )

In any case. I thought this was really cool! I've never had this happen before to me when I take similar pictures with my other cameras in this area.

I'll let you decide what the blue dots are.
^^

Note: I will not be posting for the next couple of days due to going on vaca to my favorite spot in the whole wide world! (*coughmoabcough*) I'll return Monday...or Tuesday. Have an awesome Presidents Day Weekend!

The Dream

I woke up to a call, where Brady, one of the guys who used to be on institute was calling to ask "Hey Sarnic...where were you? We were taking pictures...and you weren't there so we took them anyway, but.."
and I was like ()_() WHAT?!! I'll be right there!
So I showed up.
And Brady gave me a tour of the campsite, because we were in a medieval renaissance fair/ rendezvous. I'm not sure why we were taking pictures there, but we were...but I ended up in one of the Rendezvous stores. Where there were weapons, but I was more interested in the random stones I found in odd areas of the two store tent sized stores, There were different shaped rocks and I was trying to find one I liked. But I wasn't really feeling comfortable in the store... the atmosphere was off. And the knives he had hanging on the wall...were cool....cus they were designed and such...but it seemed like there was a dark air...

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

The Law of Test Taking

Stupid Over Confidence.

It always comes back to bite you.
It always has a return policy of 'better luck next time'
The philosophy of "Support me and I won't support you."

I halfway saw this coming.

It's part of test taking.

If you think you fail a test....you pass it.
If you think you pass a test.... you fail it.
If you're so so about the test... then more often you pass sometimes you fail.

This past test....for Certification.
I was confident. Sure that I'd passed.

But.....
I failed.
All three components.
I was below standard in all of them.

And the worst part is.... is that I don't know how to fix it.
I don't know what I need to do to make myself improve.
They don't tell why you failed. Just that you failed.
And its singularly unhelpful.

So for the moment....
I'm going to wallow in the disappointment of failure.

And pick myself up in a bit. Whether it be in 5 minutes or 2 days.

So for those of you out there....about to take a test.
Be careful about your confidence level.
It's a fickle beast to tackle.

The only bright side to this...is that at some point in the future...something really good will happen that makes failing this test worth it.
Hopefully its winning a million dollars ;) haha.

Thanks for everybody who believed that I would pass. <3 <3 <3

Until you next read these words;

The Dream

A husband and wife -looking like Jarrod and Brandi from Storage wars. Were on the run from a government agency that wanted to capture them. They had a young son with them, and the father threw the boy in the water telling him to swim for the opposite shore as the dad was captured. The son swam escaping.

Car de la Keys

So yesterday, one of my co chairs needed to borrow my keys before our meeting.
He wanted to grab the food for our meeting from the kitchen.
So I tossed the keys to him.
And apparently promptly forgot that I'd given them to him.
Our meeting proceeded.
And then it ended.
And I was like.
Yes. Now to walk to the car and go food shopping!
Cus we needed food.
So I left, dropping by the institute office to drop off the stuff we came up with in our meeting.
I got hung up a bit. Talking to a committee member.
Finally extracting myself from them.
I ended up heading the same direction.
So we talked some more.
Heading for the parking lot.
And....my phone rang.
I looked at it and it was one of my cochairs.
So I answered.
Sarnic....we have your keys.
()_()
Huh?
No way.
Yep.
I felt my pocket and everything.
No keys.
And I was like "Oh yah....I gave them to one of my cochairs."
Both the co chairs were together -one was giving the other one a ride home.
And they had my keys.
I was like...well I'm heading that way I'll just meet you in the parking lot.
Since they were already in the parking lot.
So I walked down to the parking lot.
Which involved...
going down alot of stairs,
Under the road -there was a person walkway tunnel.
I walked up the other side.
Coming out of the tunnel.
Just as my cochairs pulled up in their yellow fancy car.
We had timed it perfectly!
It was soo cool!
I felt like a White Ninja managing it so that neither side had to wait at all.
Because we arrived at the same time!
He tossed the keys to me.
And I felt all secret agent like.
:)
We continued to talk for a bit.
Then parted ways.
I was able to get into my car! lol :)
YES!

Speaking of cars.
Today Kikay and I were driving into school.
We were just getting ready to pull out of the parking lot.
I glanced left to check if there were any cars coming.
And noticed a girl walking along the side of the building.
I glanced to the right to see if there were any cars coming from that direction.
And saw the bus...just pulling away from the bus stop.
I glanced right and saw the girl looking a bit like
()_() OH NO!!
So what did I do?
Drove away.
Haha kidding.
I opened my door.
Because rolling down my window would take too long apparently.
And called to her.
"You need a ride?"
The grateful look on her face of "I'm saved" just brought warm fuzzies to my heart.
So we gave her a ride. :)
Awww.
Now... to park my car.
It was late enough in the day. (like almost 10am)
That Institute parking in the main parking lot...would be full.
Which meant that I would have to park...in outer darkness.
Lovingly called that because...its a ten minute walk to campus lol.
-anything on that side of campus is 'outer darkness' or timbucktoo depending on my mood that day.
Usually the testing center gets the 'outer darkness' distinction.
but I decided to drive along the main parking lot for kicks and giggles.
Because I was already in it.
And...I decided to just do it for fun.
And guess what.
A spot opened up!
I got to park in the main parking lot today!
YES!

^^

Until you next see these words; or see a Red Ninja....
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I think I was going to try and juggle....two of the balls were tennis balls, the other one a football and I was like. O.o I don't know if I can juggle this...
Anyway I was in a flat area...it was open ground like a desert, but with tiled floors. I was with a deaf person I knew, and I was there basically to interpret for them if they needed it. They weren't needing it and I ended up getting distracted with the huge tile circle that was like room size. And it was slowly spinning. So I got on it, walking on it.
Then I was staring at a fishtank that was located on the back of the headboard. There were a bunch of gold fish of different sizes and shapes. But they weren't doing well. My mom was there and she decided that they had fleas on them. So, they needed to be de fleaed so that they would survive.
The question was how to get them out of the fishtank?
Well Mom did something to the water...
and the fish came swimming out of the fishtank.
Mom grabbed one and set to de fleaing the gold fish.
While I gathered the rest, herding them down to my legs so that I could keep track of them.
I glanced up to the fishtank and thought I could see more black fleas in there.
Mom continued to take one fish at a time and deflea it
while I held them.
I don't know where the fish went after they were defleaed,
I'm not sure that they were put back into the tank or not.
Anyway...
we got down to the last couple or four.
When the fish took off.
I chased them down to the bathroom, but they were now black/white/orange kittens.
That still needed to be defleaed
I had a bunch of homework I needed to do.
And I was almost late for school.
We were staying at another family's house.... I think it was Sparkle, Twinkle, and Bam's home.

Looking around my basement.
I felt like there were fleas and other insects everywhere.
I could see some too.
They weren't good conditions and I was leery of having a sleep over at my Aunt and Uncles home.

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

Superbowl Hearts

Happy Valentines Day!

Or as Kikay would say: Happy I Love Myself Day!

CHOCOLATE! ;) haha

And speaking of chocolate.

The guys in my Institute classes were complaining about not getting chocolate.

You see, the Institute passed out chocolates to the ladies of the school today. :)
You know, to cheer up us single ladies and let us feel the love.
lol....
well the guys in my classes...didn't like not getting chocolate.
In some of my classes the guys did get some chocolate -after all the ladies
in others....they didn't.
But end story. The guys weren't getting the chocolate lol.

And it was halfway bugging me. Geez guys have some sympathy. ;) lol.

So I cast my mind about thinking of a....something to say.
"Hey! Let the ladies enjoy their day!"

What did I come up with?
The superbowl.

Yep.
Guys. You had the superbowl last weekend. That was 'your' party. So stop complaining. You got to eat as much food to your hearts content. :) Valentines...its just a little chocolate.
So let us ladies enjoy the lime light! ;)

lol
And for fun I continued to figure out the Valentines  = Superbowl analogy.

Valentines.
You're either taken.
or you're single.

Superbowl.
Your team wins.
Or your team loses.

And that's about as far as I got in the analogy lol

In either case.
Valentines day...is a day of happiness or self pity.
Just like the superbowl.
And the superbowl was last week.

So bring on the Hugs, Hearts, and Kisses! ;) lol

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Paitence of a Fork

How do you test to see if a person is patient?

(yes the ideas you thought off are really cool, but I'm going to say something different. :) )

You take them to a place serving soup.
(doesn't matter what kind, preferably something that has a bit of 'soup' to it)
Sit them down.
Place the bowl of soup in front of them.
Then.
Telling them they can't pick up the bowl to get the soup.
Hand them...

A fork.

And tell them to eat the soup with that.

O.o
What?! You say. It Can't Be Done!
Oh contra my friend.

I do it everytime. :)
At Zupas.

^^ yummy yummy soup.

-I've mentioned this before in the post called "Chicken Enchilada Chili"

Anywho.

I eat the soup there with a fork :D
Yep it can be done!
With the help of some bread lol :)

You see its a test,
to gauge how much soup I can eat with a fork.
How much I need to eat with the fork.
And then see if I can use the bread in such a manner that I don't need to use a spoon or pick up the bowl to get the rest of the soup.
More often then not...I succeed :) lol

I did it again tonight when I went out to eat with Kikay :D
lol.
Hence. The test of patience.
If I was eating with a spoon, I'd be done before Kikay,
but with a fork...Kikay always finishes before me -unless she's distracted.
So she has to wait.
And I have to eat.
And we both end up being there for a bit.
lol No I don't take an hour to eat it :)
I usually finish 5 to 7 minutes after Kikay finishes her soup. :)

So next time you get soup...perhaps try eating it with a fork. :) lol.

hmmm tonight I was considering the next time I go to Zupas video taping the process of eating soup with a fork.
But then I decided it would be boring. :)

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

Singing Lightbulbs

So a while ago. Like months and months ago.
Our light in our kitchen started buzzing.
It's hard to explain what the buzzing sounds like.
But it sounded like one of the lightbulb bar things was going on the fritz.
Because it came from the kitchen...
but the lights were flickering.
and they wouldn't always buzz.
It drove me crazy.
But....there wasn't much I could do about the buzzing thing.
Because it only seemed to happen late at night.
When the kitchen light had been on too long.

Well...apparently....
It wasn't the kitchen light.
You see.
We had a fishtank in the kitchen.
With a couple of gold fish and a frog.
-We're...fostering them....long story.
Anywho.
A few days ago,
Kikay decided to separate the fish and the frog.
Because the frog kept trying to eat the fish.
And she was worried the frog was going to kill the fish.
Soo she bought two new fishtanks.
And separated them.
So the gold fish were in one, the frog in the other.
But Kikay didn't want the frog to be lonely.
So she bought a second frog.
Well anyway.
Ti -our roommate.
Discovered one night.
That the frogs were 'singing.'

Singing? O.o Frogs sing?! Frogs can make noise?! Under water?!
I know..like if they're above water they can croak and ribbit and such.
But underwater...they're silent right?
Right?
Apparently not.

You remember that buzzing lightbulb I mentioned earlier?
Yep.
It wasn't the light bulb.
It was the frog! -Now frogs

They were the ones making the buzzing noise!

It made sense.
I heard the noise near the fishtank.
But since I didn't think anything in water, could make noise that could be heard outside of the water.
I never connected noise to fishtank.
I thought it was a light.
Even if I couldn't for sure pinpoint that it was the light.
I just assumed it was because the sink didn't have anything that would make noise.

So.
Moral of the story.
Frogs Sing.

:)

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I was on a huge ship with my sister. Like a pirate ship. And we were floating down the river but it wasn't really in the river, we were in a canal looking thing above the river floating crisscross back and forth in the water. We were in a hurry trying to get somewhere.

When the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

A Moment's Dabble

It's rather interesting to be surrounded by people who are full of passion.
They care deeply about what they do or say.
And they aren't afraid of looking the fool or looking really awesome.
They're just so focused on why they are there, and how they can learn from it.
That they don't often care about what others may think of them.
It may be that in this situation they are surrounded by tons of people who have the same sort of focus.
They are there.
They want to be there.
They have a purpose to be there.
lol which means that a dabbler of me.
Feels rather awkward, amazed, and confused
When surrounded by these sort of people for a brief period of time.
Because I showed up to dabble. For a specific purpose.
And then to leave.
They were there for the whole thing.
While I was there for a pinprick of it.
So while I was a bit overwhelmed by the 'culture shock' of finding myself in a passionate group of people.
I actually enjoyed seeing the different type of people and interacting oh so briefly with them. :)

It was different. :)

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

I was in a room, similar to a class room I think. And this man came into the room. I didn't trust him, and thought to myself that he didn't look trustworthy. Soo what did I do?
I tackled him to the ground.
Because he was untrustworthy.
I got his hands behind his back in a hold outside in the hallway and said for somebody to call the police.
-The guy was a terrorist. (maybe)
But after waiting a minute or two...no police had shown up.
I looked irately at the girls sitting by me and asked if any of them had dialed 911.
None of them had because they thought somebody else was calling them.
But finally we got the police to come.
And I was in a holding room...that had walls but the walls didn't reach the ceiling. So we were in a bigger room that was subdivided into smaller rooms.
I had the guy in my 'cubicle' of sorts since I worked for the police detective agency.
I was eating a dinner of rice and chicken, but I couldn't finish the meal so I gave it to the guy to eat.
But then...it was like the Joker's laughter came from the green pipe that surrounded the room -giving us our A/C and from one of the vents came a yellowish gas that was....poisonous in some way. I pulled the bad guy from the cubicle and moved about the room going from room to room to try and avoid the gas that would one at a time start pouring from the vents. We managed to avoid them and breathing through our shirts made it easier for the gas to not effect us.
At some point, the guy escaped, but I was still with him, but more as a prisoner this time.
He was joined by a few other people.
And as he dragged me to the bus or to the 'getaway' vehicle he said that he was going to talk like donald duck.
And I felt this certainty rush over me. He was going to be changed into donald duck. The girl, his partner in crime was going to be turned into daisy, and one girl dressed in black was going to be Minnie, and the fourth one...I think was going to be mickey but he reminded me of Captain Hook...with a peg leg and such.
(I think before this point I was in my neighborhood doing stuff like driving and such....but I can't remember it)
Suddenly out of nowhere this 'fairy godmother' appeared to stop the bad guys. And like I had expected, turn them into the cartoon characters and send them to a different dimension.
I turned away distracted for a moment, and when I turned back only 'Daisy' was there looking rather confused and with a lazy eye. As the fairy godmother led her to the portal saying it was for the best.

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

No More Plans

I hate plans.
No rephrase.
I intensely dislike plans.
Rephrase again.
I intensely dislike plans that involve other people.
Why?
Because they NEVER work out.

>.<

(huge over exaggeration.)
But it seems like it.
Because the last three plans I had with people.
Didn't work out the way they were supposed to.
BUT the plans involving me myself and I worked out just splendidly.

So maybe I just don't like people?
No...I like people.
I just don't like the process of making plans with people.

What happens?
We go over plans. Before the planned date. Like a week in advance in some cases.
I do my part.
Everything seems to be going splendidly.
I think its going to work.
And then.
WHAM.
Last minute (or that day a few hours before the plan was supposed to happen)
A nice wrench is thrown into said plan.
So that what I had in mind as the plan...no longer is the plan.
And I just sit there.
Confused.
Frustrated.
Really Annoyed.
And wonder...
were they not listening to me?
Hadn't I just barely said "I don't blah blah blah"
And here we are doing that "I don't blah blah blah" thing!?
Or, hadn't we agreed to do this that and the other?
But now suddenly they are doing that and the other,
and I no longer am part of the picture?

Was it my fault or their fault?
Did I not explain the plan? Didn't we remember it the same? Weren't we going to do this together?
It seems like that happens alot....I tell people the plan....
but then they somehow hear another plan...so they do this with that part of their plan because they didn't think our this's needed to happen at the same time but that we could do that and the other together.

ugh.
So in the end, I'm left scrambling to try and make it all work out in the end so that the wrench in the plans isn't so much of a wrench, but because of this one wrench, I know I throw wrenches into other people's plans. So in the end...there are a lot of us frustrated...but not all of us.
Somewhere out there the original person is just happy with their plan that wrenched every one elses.

This is why....
I don't like plans.
Or detailed plans.
I don't like plans where I need to rely on other people.
That is the key.
hmmmm
Soo if I make plans where my plans go and nothing changes....
meh...I don't want to be a conqueror. nor a tyrant.
Sooo
I'm stuck.
Make plans where I don't have to rely on people...and not have fun with people.
Or make plans where I do, and end up having those plans change due to a miscommunication between our sides.

>.<
Yah...I'm going to stop ranting on paper now.
And just continue the dialogue in my head.
:)

In any case. I should avoid plans where I need to rely on other people because  it seems like people are unreliable.
Or...I need to be more vocal in my plans and repeat them more often then I think I need to....so that there is less of a chance of miscommunication. (It will still happen though.)

*sighs*
I guess I need to work on that second one.....

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

My sister, mom, and I
Were in a haunted house.
A warehouse maybe.
With tons of random doors hidden in the paint, that if you found them, went into a different area of the haunted house with a whole new cast of creatures and such to be frightened or awed by.
I think there even was a flower scene similar to the "It's a small world" ride at Disney World.
So the three of us went through the haunted house, running in some areas, trying to help build up the area in some others. Avoiding wet paint in others.
But we came to the grand finale.
Which involved the Scooby Doo van and a huge tank that was as long as a bus maybe two, and this whole dramatic 'kill the monster!' act out scene, where the 'helper' to the mystery crew in the van gets 'killed' by the tank when the tank crushes down on another van with the monster inside of it. It had fireworks and explosions and gasps of surprise......

and then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again. :)

Five Zero Zero

Guys!
Hey Guys!

Guess what?!?!
I have the most exciting news!!

>.>
<.<
This post....

is my

FIVE HUNDREDTH POST!!!!

500
500
500

(I won't do that 500 times..)

Isn't this exciting?!?!

lol....
Probably not to you but it is to me!

Just like some other exciting thing I discovered that has me all giddy....

and when I told my sister.....Kikay gave me the 'you're crazy but okay' look.

What is this you might ask?

Well....earlier today
(actually yesterday since I didn't get to writing this post until the next day but I'm pretending that its still yesterday because I can do that. ;) )
Earlier today while I was in an institute class....

I pulled out my Ipod Touch.

Why?
Because I was bored and waiting for class to start.
And it has my scriptures on it, because I decided to be 'lazy' today,
and not pack the actual set of scriptures I have in my backpack and give my back some relief.
Sooo I pulled it out.
And flipped tot he scriptures app and got into that.
And I noticed at the bottom of the screen there was this line of  'domathingymababbers'
buttons to push to do other scripture related stuff, like open more windows and such so I can be in multiple scriptures at once.
Well...
I noticed the last little 'button' looked like a sideways triangle I> <- like that.
So I pushed it.
And the I> shape changed to a [] [] Shape.
()_()
Wait a second.
I pushed the volume button up on my Ipod.
AND THERE WAS A VOICE SPEAKING!!!
It was reading the scripture I turned to!!!
Oh man!
Oh man!!
(yes I did get really giddy happy excited about this. Why?......I have no idea lol)
So I was like...WOW!!!
That arrow is a "play" button.
SOOO COOL!!
and then I was like...I wonder what happens when I turn to the general conferences I have on my Ipod?
Well...its not for all the conferences.
BUT
for the more recent ones...
IT PLAYS THE ACTUAL VOICES OF THE SPEAKERS GIVING THE TALK!!
and better yet.
I CAN PLAY ACTUAL VIDEO AS WELL!!
Yes! I can watch and listen to the conference talks if I choose too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It. Is. Sooooooooooooooooo. Cool!!

lol I can't believe it took me two months to figure that out. ^^;; Heh.

But now. Now I can use the power of my electronic scriptures in a whole new way!!!

mmmmmm  what sort of wildly awesome and not at all evil plan should I come up with......

:D I don't know!
But there you go!
500 posts and a really excited Sarnic about something that probably isn't all that exciting. :D

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!
