It's a Rock

How can you tell the diamonds from the agates?
Both are awesome rocks.
But....when you're looking for diamonds....
Should you pick up a few agates along the way?
Even if you know the agates are agates, should you take the time to pick one up?
Give it attention, care for it, shine it up?
Or should you remain aloof from the agates.
And wait for that diamond?
Or the possibility of a diamond seen in the distance?
Its hard to know.
Because what if the 'diamond' never comes?
You would have missed out on all those agates.
That aren't as shiny or glittery as diamonds.
But they have their own random quirks, shapes, and colors to like.
And perhaps one of those agates, was actually a diamond enclosed in agate rock?
Or by picking up the agate you would find the diamond underneath it.
It's hard to know.
And it's hard to decide...if you should enjoy the agate while you pick it up.
Or...if one should be shallow and look for that 'perfect diamond' and moan about picking up the agate....yah that doesn't sound fun.
For now, I should enjoy the agate.
And not worry about the potential diamond in the future.

After all...I chose to pick it up.

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

It seemed like one of those 'need to get away, win the game, chaos' dreams.
But I can only remember near the end of it.
We were at a building...where it was like a 'sea lion' zoo place...but there were cats all over the place.
It seemed like other people didn't like the cats. But I liked playing with them.
there were mostly black cats and tabby cats/kittens, but there was also a kitten or two that was a bright pink/purple stripe color. the kitten was so sweet and though I liked playing with the others I wanted to take this one home. But the parents weren't having it.
Instead...we ended up having a bunch of....door hanging things... paint can...leather lids painted different colors. Those weren't as satisfying. (I'd looked at an article about creative 'do not disturb signs earlier) So we left without the kittens :(
And ended up in an area...with a bunch of trees but we were on the edge and there was a house/condo place near by. Brandi and Jarrod -from Storage Wars- were working on building a...sort of tree house for the tree kids. Two older daughters and a couple of younger siblings. (idk how many kid for sure) We were trying to slip the tree house over the the trunk of the tree (never saw the top of it) so that the kids would have a place to play in. But the building wasn't working and we couldn't get the trunk upright. We finally did.
But somehow the part around the tree house had been....widdled down. shaved away due to all the sliding and twisting and such. So the tree was very thin there and I couldn't see how the tree house was actually staying up. Brandi and Jarrod seemed to consider it a job well done and went to work on stringing up some sort of line involving a cake for their wedding.... but it was between two decks or something around the house. (from some cake show)

Then the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again!
