April 2015 General Conference -Priesthood Session

M. Russell Ballard -The Greatest Generation of Young Adults
  • We need vibrant, thinking, passionate missionaries who know how to listen to and respond to the whisperings of the Holy Spirit.
  • "RM" doesn't mean "retired Mormon!"
  • If you marry the right person at the right time and in the right place, you need not fear.
Ulisses Soares -Yes, We Can and Will Win!
  • Figuratively, all of us need to transform ourselves into modern Captain Moronis in order to win the wars against evil.
  • You are responsible for the choices you make. God is mindful of you and will help you make good choices.
  • All of us can receive the strength to choose the right if we seek the Lord and place all our trust and faith in Him.
  • Our testimony must be our shield to protect us against the fiery darts of the adversary in his attempts to attack us.
  • No evil forces exist that are capable of confusing, deceiving, or subverting the power of a sincere testimony of a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
Larry M. Gibson -Fatherhood--Our Eternal Destiny
  • Let our eternal destiny drive all of our decisions. Regardless of how difficult those decisions may be.
  • Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary use words.
Dieter F. Uchtdorf -On Being Genuine
  • Many of the things you can count, do not count. Many of the things you cannot count, really do count.
  • You can build on whatever strength you have.
  • The Church is not an automobile showroom--a place to put ourselves on display so that others can admire our spirituality, capacity, or prosperity. It is more like a service center, where vehicles in need of repair come from maintenance and rehabilitation.
  • We come to church not to hide our problems but to heal them.
  • God resist[s] the proud, but give[s] grace unto the humble.
Henry B. Eyring -Priesthood and Personal Prayer
  • All of us must speak and act in the name of God in moments when our unaided judgment will not be enough without inspiration.
  • Because you cannot rise to your priesthood potential without the Spirit going with you, you are a personal target for the enemy of all happiness.
Thomas S. Monson -The Priesthood--a Sacred Gift
  • Doing all I can, to the very best of my ability, has been my goal in any position I have ever held.
  • Never forget that as a holder of the Aaronic Priesthood you are entitled to the ministering of angels.

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

-Sarnic Dirchi
