President Thomas S. Monson
  • Been our prophet for 7 years now.
  • The building of temples is a clear indication of the growth of the church.
  • Three New Temples! Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; and Bangkok, Thailand.
  • There is rest for our souls and rest from the cares of our lives in the Temple.
  • Peace found in the temple can transcend any other feeling found in the heart.
  • Do not be discouraged by others negative impressions.
  • Come to the temple to seek Comfort.
  • Turn to the Lord for help, you will receive blessings.
  • The blessings of the temple are priceless.
  • May we offer prayers of Gratitude this Easter Sunday, for his Gifts to Us.
Primary General President Rosemary M. Wixom
  • Share the joy and the brightness of your Faith.
  • The Lord can only teach an inquiring mind.
  • Focus on what you know.
  • You can live your religion without knowing all the answers. Focus on the truths you do believe, the rest will come in time.
  • Humility, Faith, Influence of the Spirit -All needed to find Answers to your Questions.
  • What you focus on expands inside of you.
  • Hold fast to what you already know and stand strong until more knowledge comes.
Elder Jose A. Teixeira
  • A deeper understanding of Jesus Christ will give us a greater hope for the future.
  • Seek the Lord in every thought. Doubt not. Fear not.
  • One of our purposes here in mortality is to have Joy, that does not exclude us from having Trials. Trials to the point where you think Happiness is not possible. It is.
  • Live joyfully.
  • Joy is possible.
  • Go about each day with more enthusiasm for life, even in challenging circumstances.
  • We should have deeper relationships with those we do know, our own family, than friends online that we have never met in person.
  • The choices and priorities we place online can influence our lives in the future.
  • Always be sensitive to the teachings of the gospel.
  • There is no good soil without a good farmer. There is no good online harvest, unless we prioritize what is accessible to our fingers and our minds.
  • Life is not confined to a four inch screen.
Elder Gerald Causse
  • There are so many wonders in this world, but when we have them constantly before our eyes we take them for granted. We look but do not see. Hear but do not listen.
  • Beware. Our ability to marvel is fragile. We must be careful to not let us become insensitive to the miracles and joys of the gospel.
  • Can you still see, hear, and marvel at the joys of the Gospel? Or have you gone into Standby Mode?
  • How dedicated are we to the Gospel? Would we do anything to get to Church when our ride breaks down? Or stay home?
Elder Brent H. Nielson
  • It is always about the one precious soul who is lost. They need the most help.
  • Don't let your faith diminish. Do not let your doubts overcome your faith.
  • Sometimes when people make their choices, we have to 'let her go.' and instead 'watch and wait.' Love them anyway.
  • You may not be able to Embrace their Choices, but you can Embrace and Love Them. Wait, Watch, Love, Care
  • Always include those who struggle in your life. Let them know that you love them, and support them.
  • Even though you stray, no matter your direction, you can always turn and head back home.
  • We are all the prodigal son in some way. We are all on the same path back home
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland
  • Never move an inch. Wait.
  • Always remember the hands that reached out to save us.
  • Christ refuses to let us fall. He will hang onto us.
  • Are we all just hanging in a cold canyon somewhere in an indifferent universe, seeking for something to hold onto and grip, but with nothing to save us or hold onto? NO!
  • Adam fell that men might be, but the Savior cometh to redeem us from the fall.
  • The resurrection must come by reason of the Fall.
  • Today we celebrate the Gift of Victory over every Fall that we've Ever Experienced.
  • Christ suffered, died, and rose from death in order so that he could rescue us as we fall, held us with his might, and lift us to eternal life.
  • How Great, Glorious, Complete, Redemption's Grand Design is, where Justice, Love and Mercy meet in Harmony Divine.
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
  • Satan has no lasting power.
  • As we talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, Preach in Christ, in every opportunity, we should never loose our sense of awe over the sacrifice of the Son of God.
  • God loves us deeply, perfectly, and everlastingly. It's hard to understand the breadth, length, and height of the love God has for us.
  • 1. Grace unlocks the gates of heaven. We cannot earn our way into heaven. The demands of justice stand as a barrier that we cannot overcome on our own.
  • Grace of God is our great and everlasting hope, through Jesus Christ, the plan of mercy appeases the demands of justice.
  • We need more than an unlock gate, we must ENTER into the unlocked gate with a desire to change. To be Born Again. Born of God.
  • Though we all have weaknesses, we can overcome them. If we have Faith. Weak things can Become Strong.
  • Which of these two people that we are most like? Are we comfortable in our good deeds trusting in ourselves? Impatient with those not living up to our standards? Are we on auto pilot going through the motions? Or are we like this woman who though she was completely lost because of the weight of her sins.
  • If grace a gift of God, why is obedience to God so important? Why do we have to keep the commandments. Why not say we are sinful and let God Save Us.
  • We obey the commandments of God out of love for him.
  • Our obedience comes from an natural outgrowth out of genuine love and gratitude for him. It will merge our love with his grace.
  • Living the Gospel faithfully is not a Burden. It a joyful preparation for inheriting the grand glory of the eternities.
  • Labor diligently to persuade all to believe in Christ.
  • It is by Grace that we are saved after all that we can do.
  • "After" does not equal "Because." We are not saved Because of what we can do. Can we ever do All?
  • God's Grace is available to all who's hearts are broken and who's spirits are contrite. Jesus Christ has cleared the way for us to ascend to heights incomprehendable to mortal minds.
185th Annual General Conference -Sunday Afternoon

Elder Robert D. Hales
  • Moral agency is an essential part of God's plan to ALL of his Children.
  • Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.
  • There are four corner stones of religious freedom that we must rely upon and protect. 1. Freedom to Believe. 2. Freedom to Share Faith and Beliefs with Others. 3. Freedom to Form a Religious Organization. 4. Freedom to Live our Faith
  • What we believe about God is very personal and very important.
  • Every man should be able to share his convictions of religion with love at any point.
  • We are responsible to safe guard these sacred freedoms and rights for ourselves and our posterity.
  • Become informed and aware of the issues that could have an impact on religious freedoms.
  • Join with others who share the same commitment, work side by side to protect religious freedom.
  • Live your life to be a good example of what you believe in good and deed. How we live our religion is more important than what we say of our religion.
  • Don't walk, RUN! Run towards Religious Freedom and hold strong to it.
Elder Kevin W. Pearson
  • No one of any age is immune from Satan's influence.
  • To hang in there is NOT a principle of the Gospel. Enduring to the End is ACTION. Constantly Coming to Christ.

  • Pray for Strength. Ask Heavenly Father what more you can do.
  • Press forward with Faith.

  • Don't become spiritual Blinded. Be spiritually Minded.
  • Stay by the Tree and Stay Awake.
  • Apostasy is the reverse of Conversion.

  • Awaken unto God. Cling to Truth. Keep your Covenants. Stay by the Tree.

  • Perspective allows us to appreciate the true value of things. Unless we step back from the tree, we cannot appreciate the forest for what it is.
  • After you understand what it is, something that first looks unpleasant can become very attractive.
  • We do not have to be concerned with all the separate parts individual, but keep the whole picture in mind.
  • The Lord knows all of the pieces and where they all go. Trust him to complete the picture.
  • Do not let the Trials of Life blind you to all the Miracles/Blessings you Received while in those Trials
  • The Lord knows what he wants to accomplish in each one of us. We do not have the right to counsel him. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
Elder Neil L. Anderson
  • The difficulties of some are more severe than the difficulties of others. None are immune. If everything is going perfectly for you. Just wait.
  • Seeing and Believing in the Lord's miracles can help us Believe and See that the Lord's hand is at work in our own lives as well.
  • See the Lord's hand in your own lives. He does not forget nor forsake any of his children. He is present and cares about You and your life.
  • The location of a temple is not a convenient geographical location. It is acknowledgement of the righteousness and the needs of his people, of his work.
  • Can you see the hand of God moving his work forward? In the lives of his people? Can you see his hand in your life?
  • Christ's mercy is over all the ends of the Earth.
  • You are of more value than many sparrows.
  • Fear not, for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
  • Stand steadfastly in what is to come.
