  • Faith is the antidote to fear.
  • The Doctrine of the Lord was designed to help us Increase our Faith.
  • Are we securely tied to God, so that our faith shows. Or are we actually tied to something else?
  • Where is our Faith? Is it in a team? A brand? A celebrity? Even the best teams can fail. Celebrities can fade. There is only one in who's faith is always safe. Christ.
  • Doubt not. Fear Not.
  • In a test, will their religion show? Or will it be hidden? Will you be shown to be tied to God, or man?
  • Truth is truth. It can't be divided and/or set aside.
  • All truth emanates from Job. All Truth is part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Let your faith show.
  • Spiritual truth cannot be ignored.
  • Problems abound in this world because it is populated by imperfect people.
  • If one tries to segment their life into separate components, one will never rise to the full potential never to become all that their true self could be.
  • Even if everyone is doing it. Wrong is never Right.
  • Be securely tied to God.
  • All men have their fears, but those who face them with faith have courage as well.
  • Increase your faith. Proclaim your faith. Let your faith show.
Elder Richard G. Scott
  • Be an example
  • Serve the Lord first.
  • Simply love.
  • Love the ones who struggle, in righteousness, so that they to can begin to feel God's love.
  • Help them develop a faith in a Heavenly Father who loves them by loving them in a similar way.
  • Helping others can help you figure out your own personal struggles.
  • Sometimes we get so wrapped up in things in everyday life, that we loose sight of God's objective.
  • Remember that conversion of individuals is only part of the work. Always seek to strengthen the family. It could take years to do so.
  • In some cases it may seem difficult to trust them, but trust in the Lord and his love for them.
  • We all grow line upon line.
  • Keep your love for the gospel simple.
  • Don't get caught up in trivial things.
  • His gospel is the path to peace and happiness in our life.
  • Share love and trust to others in need.
Elder Robert D. Hales
  • Be careful who you follow.
  • You learn from what you suffer.
  • Sometimes we may be tempted to follow Natural Man's obedience because it is popular, Others follow in Selective Obedience when it works for them and they understand the reasons for the commandment.
  • Why do any of us choose to be disobedience when we know the eternal consequences of sin?
  • To rationalize disobedience does not change the nature of the spiritual law or the consequences.
  • No the weapon that is formed against you shall prosper when you serve the Lord. Keep His commandments. They are true.
  • Don't yield to the pressure of others when they aren't going down the right path.
  • Obedience makes us stronger. It helps us to do better for future trials.
Elder Claudio D. Zivic
  • How often do we make a mistake about the 'right way' by following the trends of the world?
  • Always remain connected to the heavens.
Elder W. Craig Zwick
  • Communicate in edifying ways.
  • What does the phrase 'no corrupt communication' mean to you?
  • Try and understand the words/phrases we use from the other person's perspective.
  • Treat all with kindness and civility, even when we disagree.
  • Do not compromise doctrinal truth.
  • I know I will be delivered.
  • Speak to comfort, not to stir up anger.
  • Cultivate respect for each other.
  • It doesn't matter who is 'more right.' What matters is listening to each other and understanding the other's perspective.
  • Transform hazardous places into holy places.
Elder Quentin L. Cook
  • Our Heavenly Father's plan involves Families.
  • We have an obligation to our ancestors to get their work done and connect the family together.
  • We need to be connected to both our 'roots' and our 'branches.'
  • We stand on the threshold of what we can do with the technological tools provided to us by the Lord.
  • Our Family History Centers are now in our homes.
  • Don't underestimate the influence of the deceased.
  • Our roots and branches must be nourished.
  • Family should be at the top of our priorities.

The Dream

I dropped my Ipod, and the top third broke off, hinging backwards. It was rather disappointing to have it happen, and I tried to still use it as I still kinda needed it....
