Misty Droplet Desert Rain

It's been a while since I've driven home in heavy rain.
Seriously.
It was heavy.
Reminded me a bit of the Oregon sort of weather. Clouds everywhere. Misty rain.
Only it was different here. Slightly.
The clouds were thick and heavy. To the point where the mountains were basically covered from bottom to peak. The rain, thick heavy desert droplets.
But on the Highway....with so many cars around. There was a fine cloud of misty water everywhere there as well.
Thick as soup in some cases.
Where you could hardly see the cars in front of you because of how much splash was coming up off the road and from the cars themselves.
Everything was grey.
It nearly felt like we'd entered the twilight zone.
You know...when we weren't crawling along at 15 miles per hour....

It was crazy, at some points it felt like we were going to drive straight into the clouds with how the road angled and the colors all were in tones of grey.

Definitely something I don't drive in often.
It was something different.
Though I'm glad it was sunny skies when we drove back down the next day. lol. A One direction crazy road trip in the rain is just fine with me. No need to make it a Two Way trip. :)

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!
