A Little Bit of Trust

It seems like every semester, I find a theme song.
Just a melody that seems to speak to me, and I listen to it obsessively. Stick it on my Ipod, and then....find a new song to obsess over later on.
My theme song for this semester is:

Didn't Even See the Dust by Paul Brandt. The Lyrics are provided below the video, so you can read along as you listen. :) I couldn't find a video with the lyrics on it....

Chorus:
Shotgun, everybody get in for the
Long run, dont know where were goin but the
Outcome comes with a little bit of trust.
Lets go, following whatever way the
Wind blows, flying with our hands out of the
Window. we didnt even see the dust.

Verse 1:
See how far we get driving straight ahead
Getting lost, it didnt seem to matter much.
All we had was time and a yellow line,
Looking back we didnt even see the dust.

Chorus:
Shotgun, everybody get in for the
Long run, dont know where were goin but the
Outcome comes with a little bit of trust.
Lets go, following whatever way the
Wind blows, flying with our hands out of the
Window. we didnt even see the dust.

Verse 2:
We had ups and downs we got spun around
We held on when the going got a little tough.
It took love and faith and some give and take,
And grace. no, we didnt even see the dust.

Chorus:
(Shotgun everybody get in for the)
Shotgun, everybody get in for the
Long run, dont know where were goin but the
Outcome comes with a little bit of trust.
Lets go, following whatever way the
Wind blows, flying with our hands out of the
Window. we didnt even see the dust.

Lets go, following whatever way the
Wind blows, flying with our hands out of the
Window. we didnt even see the dust.

Basically...this is my theme song....
because it symbolizes how I feel.
I'm about to take off.
Leave College behind.
And not look back.
I'm about to start the next great adventure.
That of 'after college life' lol :)

Until you next see these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream
I don't remember really what came before this point.
But the bad guy was on top of a red rock cliff in the desert.
He was stuck, frozen, unable to move.
And there was like...this invisible helicopter spinning around him.
And he couldn't move.
The helicopter was coming closer.
and closer.
And it began to tear into him.
Piece by piece.
In every circle it took off more.
I tried to look away, but I kept getting glimpses of it streams of red flying into the air.
-Like the scene in Captain America where the bad guy goes through the propeller blades and its just a stream of red....yah like that.
Then a gust of wind came up and blew the remaining limb -all that was left of the guy down into the valley where it lodged into the sand, and it was just the remains of the toes....then it was bones, and the bones were fading into dust.
-I woke up at this point...because that was really creepy. Then I went back to bed and dreamed some more, but I don't remember the dream anymore. :(
