Wisdom from Dove Chocolate

"Simply be, rather than do."

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!

The Dream

There were three teams. All competing to win The Amazing Race.
The first team was of two brothers. Both on more of the 'chubby' side. They almost looked like twins. They had dark hair and beards/mustaches that were close to the chin.
The Second team reminded me of Brandi and Jarrod of off Storage Wars. The girl had blonde hair, but the guy reminded me more of my friend Casey.
the Third team...almost seemed like a thinner version of the first team. There were two men in the group. One had a 'shadow' beard/moustache with buzz cut hair. the other brother reminded me of Ryan off of Whos Line is it Anyway.
(I switched povs w/ the second and third team)
The dream started with a 'roadblock challenge.'
We were in some pacific island nation.
And one member of the team had to participate in a 'dance' that a group of people did every day where they would enter through one door of a shop/restaurant place, and exit through another. going in a circle.
They wore stilts and had on masks/ and huge headdresses of wood and grass. They also wore a costume of pleated grass skirts and such.
One of the guys of Team 1 was getting frustrated because he couldn't figure out what you needed to do to be done with the challenge. He just kept walking in circles with the group banging his stick (they had long walking sticks they'd bang rhytmitically as well) until his partner got frustrated and basically said:
"No like this you dummy!" He then halfway showed/called out to the dancing guy that he needed to bang his stick with them. Bang Bang Bang pause Bang Bang Bang pause.
The dude doing the challenge finally got it.
And they dashed off running towards their van. -There were three crappy looking vans. One was red the other white, and the last a navy blue.
Team 3 guys were did the challenge as well. They had a bit more fun.
Team 2 noticed a bottle by a store as they were doing their challenge. That looked like the immunity. But it wasn't. It was a huge coke bottle looking bottle with some... S...something written on it.
There were hidden immunities throughout the race, that would make it so you could go onto the next challenge.
They looked like a shot glass, but instead of being plain glass, they were brightly colored in Neon. So it would be hard to miss them if you were looking for it. They also were marked w/ the same logo the big coke bottle had.
Well Team 2 decided to 'steal' the bottle from in front of the store.
They nonchalantly walked up, picked up the bottle, and walked away.
Though the girl did comment "isn't this stealing?"
Team 3 was in line at the grocery store, buying a ton of water bottles that were similar in shape to the coke bottle. They were hiding it from Team 2 who were standing behind them. They also had a bunch of Gatorade drinks and pringles cans -which were red cans, and light green colored cans-
Team 2 guy notices the bottle that Team 3 has -immunity. But doesn't comment on it.
Team 3 guys make a break for it, running across the parking lot to get to their van.
But there were a ton of rattlesnakes all over the ground.
They ran trying to jump and miss them.
But like 6 rattle snakes attacked one of the guys at once. Biting into his shoes. It hurt.
So they were stuck not daring to move.
Team 2 reach their van and notice that one is already gone, though the other -a red one- is still there.
They look over and see a young kid -tan, thin and pacific island in heritage- get bitten by a rattlesnake.
So team 2 goes to help the kid get the snakes away from him.
And they also notice team 3 has run into trouble with the snakes as well.
It became a game of 'rattlesnake roundup' where people had gathered to capture the snakes.
The small ones were more poisonous then the bigger ones so you had to be careful around them.
I remember seeing a young woman working to get her hand up to the snakes mouth so that she could shut it by going along the body. There were snakes tied into notes, and snakes everywhere.
Finally Me and Casey were trudging through a store and up a hill pulling our carts with us. We stopped at a Wendy's to get fries. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries, and he, buzz cut guy from team 3 ordered a hamburger, and also...fish things that were like corndogs but with fish in the middle instead of hotdogs. The fish were creepy looking, grey/blue/ and very spiny if short. And I think they were jalapeno type cornfish things. But the guy seemed to relish them. My chicken sandwich...actually looked to be made from a real chicken breast. It looked disgusting, I had been expecting the Arctic Circle type of chicken sandwich not the Arby's kind. So i didn't really eat much of that food.
I think we ended up in a couple more food places during our walk to eat some more...though i wasn't really hungry.
Then we were in a mountainous canyon castle area. With the bad guys coming after us. We needed to save our people. And me and my guy partner (it seemed like we were married at this point, or engaged) pulled one of the others -a guy from the kingdom needing to be saved- as well as a couple of small stuffed animals. I grabbed two rendezvous dolls Sunny and Nicole, as well as a small magnetic dog, and perhaps a few others. My guy and me then stood at the edge of the castle tower wall. and told the guy to hang on tight.
We were going to jump and fly. the two of us (team 2) were chained together. and we didn't really have wings but I remembered doing this before so I knew we could fly.
We dove off the tower, and glided to safety in a dark place.
I landed and placed the stuffed animals mentioned before in a corner by some water to be safe,
I think I might have made one more trip to rescue the stuffed animals that were alive.
But then I received news...that the enemy had slaughtered the rest :( we couldn't rescue them anymore. That was devastating.
Then me and my family were doing a beach day.
We were at this huge sand dune the size of a mountain.
We climbed to the top of it to see the other side,
Upon reaching the top we saw a bunch of houses on stilts built on the narrow top of the dune.
It was flat enough, but the edges of the houses were like a foot away from either edge.
I thought they were completely stupid to build houses up here as I looked over the step edge on the other side that we had climbed  (the slope was basically vertical) I saw a girl down there on a towel reading a book with a large sunhat and glasses. She didn't look too happy that were were intruding on her side of the dune. There was water down there as well.
But I thought building houses on sand was really dumb because the sand could fall away in an instant and bring the house tumbling down.
On the side we climbed I noticed that many of the beach goers (more of them were on this side) had a sand slide going -it looked alot like the way snow looks after sleds have gone down them alot. Smooth. Except sand would come down with you.
My cousin Justin was trying to climb up a narrow canyon in the sand made by people sliding down the dune mountain. He was trying to reach us, but was having trouble.
I chose to slide down one of the sand hills, I hit a few bumps.
and I ended up in my Aunt Stephanie's home.
It was dark, dank, and there seemed to be kids everywhere though I only saw 5 or so of them. Some looked to be adopted/or they were being fostered by her.
One girl..Emma she alternated between being around 6 years old, to being a baby.
Got into trouble, and one of the other siblings called for Mom.
Aunt Stephanie showed up with short black hair, looking a bit tired/haggard.
Some sort of conversation/scene went on....
And one of the kids told Stephanie that 'soandso' -A young dark haired/tanned skin looking girl that didn't look anything like the rest of the family. Had fed Emma 100 bottles of milk with a dash of coffee mixed into it yesterday causing her diaper to get really full and to bloat up Emma.
(the dash of coffee came from a story one of the speakers told yesterday in church about the quorum of the 70 and David o McKay, and the new thing about coffee, and one of the guys asked for a bit of coffee in his hot chocolate since he was kinda addicted to it.)
Stephanie -the mom- was Furious. She had a bottle in her hand and dumped it on her wrist to test it.
She started yelling at the girl for trying to get her into trouble.
(apparently the mom had been gone for a day or so leaving the kids in charge)
And she couldn't believe the girl could be so stupid.
She told one of the other kids to put the girls shoes on and to kick her out the door, she didn't live there anymore. :( poor devastated girl -this lead me to believe she was being fostered.
Laura gathered us kids up complaining about Stephanie and how she expected her to take care of all the kids. She was getting us all ready to head out and we had all gathered into the van and we were driving along heading...to the beach?

When the unholy tones of daylight pulled me away....
and I became myself again.
