Finding A Seat

Having church the Sunday before Christmas is never quite what I expect.

Like honestly it does depend on the year.
But most of the time, in the singles wards, we end up combining one or two wards, or else the entire stake into one session.
And we just do like the first hour of church.
Have the sacrament. Sing a lot of songs. Etc.

This year they decided to combine the stake together so a bunch of wards would come together since the singles wards ends up being rather small during the holiday season as many people travel home to go see family for the holiday.

So normally there aren't too many of us.

This year though...
I think they underestimated as my roomie and I arrived like right at 11 when church started....
To find the place was filled and more people kept coming. :S

Some years the bishop in charge has everyone scoot in closer so that people can actually see where there are seats.
but that didn't happen this year.

So me and my roomie were left trying to figure out who was saving and if there were two spots together.

Thankfully she spotted a guy friend from her previous ward who scooted over to give us room so we were able to go sit down.

And there was another girl neither one of us knew who also indicated we could come sit by her.
which is where we were heading until y roomie spotted her friend.

which was good in a way
because there were two other girls near us who ended up getting the spots the one girl had indicated were empty.

So we four were able to get seats!!

Woot!
But yah. They definitely didn't plan well for that. We'll see if next Sunday is just as packed.

Until you next read these words;
I'll be watching the leaves.
Enjoy the day!
