Saving the World

So you know how I have Dabo twice for classes?
lol. Well he happened to have given us a midterm on the same day.
And today, he took me aside...leaned in and whispered...
That he had mixed up my grades. So the grade I had in Class 1 for the test...is actually the grade for Class 2 and vis versa.  
lol. It didn't really matter much to me. One class I got 90 the other 95.
But since he hadn't realized his mistake for a couple of days...the score I got on the test, is the actual score I got on 'that classes' test.
Dun Dun Dun.

lol, also apparently, something funny happened on Friday....where Dabo thought of me,
and that he needed to tell me this thing that happened....even told everyone that if they saw me, that they should tell me to go to his office....I had left pretty soon after Dabo's last class...so they wouldn't have seen me lol.
Only come Monday...he can't remember what it was lol. :)
I hope he eventually remembers.
Because I'm really curious now.
What possibly could have been said that would remind Dabo of me?
I don't know...but it is intriguing since I'm pretty much a silent spectator for his classes.
Occasionally I'll comment...
Hopefully he remembers. I want to know what made him think of me, and why he thought it would be funny....
I think it may have something to do with being left handed....since he's left handed as well...
but he denied that.
Soo we'll see. :D

In other news....
I was in the Institute Main Office today....doing Publicity stuff.
And El Daen (the head secretary)
Asked me... What do I want right now, in my life?
Without hesitation, I replied "A Boyfriend."
lol, for some reason that cracked every up in the office.... *shrugs*
She asked me again and I was like... "A job?"
Then she finally clarified the question.
"What Material thing do you need right now in life?"
O.o
I really need to be more prepared for these off the wall questions.
What Material thing did I need?
O.o
I couldn't think of anything I needed.
I mean...I have books, I have my cellphone, Ipod, laptop....
I'm covered lol :)
I didn't 'need' anything. I was content with what I had.
So halfway teasing I was like. Uh....an Ipad? O.o
lol that didn't go over well.
El Daen was like "something less expensive."
And I was like. O.o
Uhh.....let me think about that, and I'll get back to you. lol.
As I left I was like "A Barnes and Noble gift card."
That got a few smiles and nods.
But as I went to class, I got to thinking...that those are rather expensive as well... $25 or so.
I could ask for an Itunes card....but again...those are getting rather expensive, and I had no idea what 'not expensive' meant to El Daen.
So I sat in class trying to figure it out.
Trying to guess why she wanted to know 'what material thing I needed.'
I think she's getting me a gift...but Idk for sure.
Her complimenting me enough on my dedication and hard work put into being Co Chair for publicity is often enough to brighten my day.
But she put emphasis on material.
Which in today's world would mean an electronic device of some sort. ;) lol.
But I already have all of those.
And then it hit me.
This was the institute.
So I went back to El Daen and said: "I've thought of something else."
lol she gave me this look of "oh no not this again."
and so I said. "A small statue of Christ, or an angel."
I like things doing with angels ^^ Love their wings.
And I don't have a Statue of Christ in my room. Lots of pictures, but a statue would be cool.
She gave me a smile that was like 'lightbulb!' and said "That could work!" and she went back to her desk.
*shrugs*
I guess we'll see what comes out of that lol. :)
I said a statue because I figured that I would want something 'material' that would help to remind me of my time on the LDSSA. And since we were trying to be Christ-like throughout the year, or guardian angels...I thought that that could apply. I wanted something that I could have that would remind me of the LDSSA. Gift cards are nice...but they're spent up and forgotten.
A statue...isn't as likely to be forgotten.
Haha.
Typing this up now I should have said "A Car" lol.
But methinks that that is too expensive ;) haha.
Wwwaaaayyyy over the budget. :)

But the institute didn't fail to bring a smile to my face today. :)
First compliments with El Daen.
And then...in my box....
was a little note. On a note card.
It had my name written on the front blank side.
And then on the lined side were the words
: Most likely to.....

:) It brought back memories of...9th grade I think it was. We did a series of "most likely to:" as well back then. Mine said.. Most likely to become the next (name of author here). i remember it was a girl...and that she was like a mystery writer. :) hmm I think it was Mary Higgins Clark. That name sounds familiar.

Well apparently someone on the LDSSA, whether it be on counsel or one of the advisers or El Daen...somebody involved with the LDSSA decided to do the same thing.
We all got note cards of most likely to....

The Dream

I woke up from my morning dream....really disturbed. I can't remember what happened...but I didn't like it.
I dozed off for a bit later in the morning, and I was dreaming of...numbers...number of songs, what time it was -10am, lists of things...and more numbers.

I think I was concerned with oversleeping my classes lol :)
